Richard A. Minot, CPA, MSA
Richard is the owner of Minot Accountancy Corporation, a full-service accounting firm in Tustin, CA. In addition to filing all types of tax returns, the firm offers business consulting and retirement planning services. Richard received his bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Rhode Island, and later obtained his maters in accounting from the University of Connecticut. He has been a licensed CPA since 1978.
Richard is currently an adjunct faculty member at California State University San Marcos and Fullerton in the Schools of Business where he teaches advanced and intermediate accounting courses and ethics. Richard has been the author and speaker on a diverse group of tax and audit issues. His lectures have been conducted for the Accounting and Tax Symposium, National Tax Institute and annual convention for the National Society of Accountants. In addition, he has lectured at many state accounting conventions and served as vice-chair for the Lease and Finance Committee of Helicopter Association International. Richard’s professional memberships include the California Society of CPA's and the American Accounting Association.
